01 · Overview

Why community banks choose Coverbase

  1. 01

    Build the record examiners expect

The 2023 Interagency Guidance applies whether you have three risk staff or three hundred. Coverbase does the evidence collection and first-pass review.
  2. 02

    Fintech partnerships, handled

Onboard and monitor fintech and BaaS partners with the same rigor you apply to core providers, including the vendors behind them.
  3. 03

    No questionnaire busywork

Coverbase pulls SOC 2s, financials, and public filings automatically, so you review findings instead of chasing PDFs.
  4. 04

    One source of truth

Replace the shared drive and the spreadsheet tracker with one record every examiner and auditor can follow.
  5. 05

    Live in weeks

Stand up a defensible program without a six-month implementation or a new hire to run it.
02 · How Coverbase helps

A vendor program that scales down, not only up

Most TPRM tools assume a dedicated team to feed them. Coverbase does the evidence collection and first-pass review.

  1. Does the diligence for you

AI gathers evidence, reads it, and drafts the assessment so your team reviews a finished file.
  2. Board and committee reporting

Generate the vendor risk reporting your board and exam prep already require, on a schedule.
  3. Renewals and reviews on time

Automatic reminders for reassessments, SOC report refreshes, and contract renewals so nothing lapses.
  4. Right-sized diligence

Tier vendors by risk and skip the deep dive on the low-risk ones, automatically.
03 · Platform features

One platform for third-party risk and security

Speed with control

Automate procurement from intake to assessment to contract, with guardrails that keep your policies in force.

Explain with confidence

AI shows its reasoning for each recommendation, so you can explain your ratings, approvals, and exceptions.

Automate with assurance

Launch new workflows and adapt controls as your program and its regulations change.

  3. Identity and production access

05 · Questions

Community-bank oversight in practice

Your bank sets the policy. We make the work easier to trace.

Does the 2023 Interagency Guidance set one process for every vendor?

No. The 2023 Interagency Guidance calls for a risk-based approach tailored to the bank's size, complexity, and relationship. It does not create new requirements. We use your tiers and controls in the review.

Who makes the final vendor decision?

You do. We collect and analyze the evidence, then put findings and exceptions in front of your reviewers for approval.

Can we review fintech providers as well as core vendors?

Yes. We assess fintechs and core vendors through your own intake rules, then show the fourth parties behind those partnerships.
