05 · Questions

Vendor questions from clients and counsel

Your lawyers decide the obligation. We keep the review attached.

Can we assess eDiscovery and hosting providers?

Yes. We review eDiscovery and hosting vendors against your firm and client controls, including their access to matter files.

Does Coverbase determine whether material is privileged?

No. Your lawyers make privilege and confidentiality decisions. We document the vendor evidence and follow-up relevant to them.

Can each client requirement be reflected in the review?

Yes. We apply your control criteria and keep relevant contract duties in the vendor review; your responsible lawyer decides how a client's guideline applies.
