01 · Overview

Why credit unions choose Coverbase

  1. 01

    NCUA-aligned diligence

Map vendor management to NCUA expectations and document it the way examiners want to see it.
  2. 02

    Member data, mapped

Track how vendors and CUSOs access member data, and where that data goes next.
  3. 03

    More coverage, same budget

Automate the evidence gathering so a small team covers a growing vendor list without growing the team.
  4. 04

    Fintech and CUSO oversight

Vet and monitor fintech partners and CUSOs with the rigor their access deserves.
  5. 05

    One defensible record

Replace scattered files with a single, time-stamped history for every third party.

05 · Questions

What NCUA guidance means for your reviews

Match the work to the relationship, not a fixed checklist.

Does NCUA prescribe the same diligence for every vendor?

No. NCUA's 07-CU-13 guidance says planning, diligence, and controls depend on your credit union's risk profile and the relationship. We let you apply those differences.

Can we include CUSOs and fintech partners?

Yes. We take CUSOs and fintech partners through the same intake path, then adjust checks for service, criticality, and member-data access.

Will Coverbase protect member data on its own?

No software can guarantee that. We show provider access, submitted evidence, and changes so your team can make and revisit its safeguards decision.
